Circle of Power: Abilities, Mechanics, and Utility

In custom maps and specific game modes inspired by classic DotA mechanics, the Circle of Power acts as a crucial control hub for players. Far more than a simple storage unit, it provides tactical utility, item management shortcuts, and vital team-fight mechanics.

This guide breaks down everything you need to know about the Circle of Power's abilities and how to leverage them effectively.

Core Abilities & Features

1. Disassemble

Disassemble

The Disassemble function allows you to break down specific completed items back into their individual component parts.

  • Eligible Items:
    • Perseverance, Helm of the Dominator, Manta Style, Sange and Yasha, Abyssal Blade, Ethereal Blade, Tranquil Boots, Lotus Orb, Glimmer Cape, Octarine Core, Silver Edge, and Radiance.
  • Quick Disassemble Shortcut: You can disassemble most eligible items directly within your hero's inventory without bringing them to the Circle of Power. Simply perform 4 right-clicks on the item. (Note: Tranquil Boots must be disassembled at the Circle of Power).

2. Scan

Scan

An incredible tool for map awareness and safety, Scan targets a 900 AoE (Area of Effect) for 8 seconds to detect enemy presence.

  • Mechanics:
    • Checks for enemy heroes or illusions in 1-second intervals, starting immediately.
    • What it detects: Normal, invisible, and smoked heroes.
    • What it ignores: Hidden and invulnerable heroes.
    • Limitations: It only indicates whether enemy heroes are present; it does not reveal their exact count, provide vision, or break their invisibility/smoke.
    • Stealth: Enemies are not alerted when your team casts Scan.
  • Stats:
    • Radius: 900
    • Scan Interval: 1 second
    • Duration: 8 seconds
    • Team Cooldown: 3.5 minutes

3. Glyph of Fortification

A defensive lifesaver that temporarily shields your structures and creeps from all incoming damage.

  • Mechanics:
    • Grants total invulnerability to all Sentinel units against any form of damage.
    • Enhances tower firepower while active: Tier 1 towers attack 3 targets at once, while stronger towers attack 4 targets simultaneously.
    • Bonus Reset: A team's Glyph cooldown is instantly refreshed whenever they lose a Tier 1 tower.
  • Durations & Cooldown:
    • Duration on Towers: 7 seconds
    • Duration on Creeps: 4 seconds
    • Team Cooldown: 300 seconds (5 minutes)

4. Item Management & Utilities

Managing your inventory efficiently can win or lose games. The Circle of Power streamlines this with three dedicated commands:

  • Drop Items: Instantly drops all items currently carried by the Circle of Power onto the ground.

  • Pickup All Items: Gathers all nearby items located on the ground or carried by couriers into the unit's inventory or vicinity.
  • Transfer Items: A quick-access click to transfer items directly to your active hero.
