AucT Hotkeys Tool – CustomKeys for Invoker and Rubick
AucT Hotkeys Tool (AHT) is a comprehensive macro and shortcut automation utility designed for Warcraft III and DotA Allstars. It allows players to fully customize keybindings, streamline inventory management, set quick-chat macros, and execute complex spell combinations.
Unlike standard custom key tools, AHT stands out for its specialized ability to configure and automate hotkeys for complex spellcasters like Invoker and Rubick—both for setting up spells and executing them in real time.
How AucT Hotkeys Tool Works
AucT Hotkeys Tool works by recording input sequences and automating the fast mouse clicks required to combine elements and invoke spells.
- For Invoker: AHT automates orb combinations (Quas, Wex, Exort) and Invoke sequence clicks, allowing single-key or double-key spell triggers.
- For Other Heroes: The program dynamically positions the cursor over the target spell or item icon and performs the corresponding click automatically.

Step-by-Step Configuration Guide
To keep this guide concise, here is a breakdown of the three core configuration tabs: Inventory, Skills, and Invoker.
1. Inventory Tab
- Enable Keys: Global toggle to enable or disable custom inventory hotkeys (ideal for quickly enabling/disabling shortcuts during chat).
- Inventory Layout Grid: Visual 2x3 inventory representation. Click on any button to assign a new hotkey.
- Don't show it later: When checked, AHT will minimize directly to the system tray on subsequent launches.
- Hide: Instantly minimizes AHT to the notification tray.
- Save / Exit: Saves current settings or exits the program.
2. Skills Tab
- New WarCraft UI (1.29+) *: Required for WC3 1.29 or higher. Fixes coordinate shifts on updated user interfaces and enables chat suspension support.
- Enable Custom Keys: Main switch to turn custom skill hotkeys on or off.
- Smart Learning Skills : Automatically clicks the top skill learn button when leveling up abilities.
- Selfcast on double-click: Double-tapping a hotkey automatically targets your own hero.
- Quick Cast *:* Automatically left-clicks at your current mouse cursor location upon pressing a skill key (Beta feature)*.
3. Invoker Tab
- Add Spell Hotkeys: Check "Add Spell" to activate single-key combinations for adding spells to your invoke slots.
- Use Spell Hotkeys: Check "Use Spell" to activate keys that invoke and immediately cast the spell.
- Double Click: Requires double-clicking the "Add Spell" or "Use Spell" keys before activation to prevent accidental casts.
- Orb Shortcuts (QQQ, WWW, EEE): Pressing QQQ, WWW, or EEE instantly invokes three of the respective element orbs (Triple Quas, Wex, or Exort).
- Self-cast Z: Instantly invokes and casts Alacrity on your hero.
- Your Customkeys *: Allows changing standard QWER keys to your preferred hotkeys. (Note: Custom key assignments only apply to the "Add Spell" functionality).
Important Requirements & Recommendations
- Warcraft III 1.29+ Compatibility: If running Warcraft III patch 1.29 or higher, you must enable the "New WarCraft UI (1.29+)" option. This ensures that chat suspension functions properly and coordinate-based hotkeys hit the correct skill icons.
- Administrator Privileges: Always right-click and select "Run as Administrator" when launching AHT to prevent Windows security permissions from blocking mouse and key automation.
