4. Marksmanship
The Ranger's accuracy has increased, giving her more agility. Bonus is removed if there are nearby enemy heroes.
- Detection Area of Effect (AoE): 400
- Bonus Removal Condition: Deactivates instantly if any enemy hero enters the 400 AoE radius
- Aghanim's Scepter Upgrade: Adds Split Arrows ability. This fires 2 projectiles onto 2 nearby enemies whenever a primary attack lands. These arrow shards deal half of normal damage, but can proc any on-attack effects (e.g., Lifesteal, Frost Arrows, Critical Strike) on hit.

Item Build Guide
| Phase |
Recommended Items |
Strategic Purpose |
| Early Game |
Power Treads, Wraith Band, Magic Wand |
Power Treads (set to Agility) boosts attack speed and scales your raw damage. Wraith Band provides efficient stats for laning, and Magic Wand covers early-game mana requirements. |
| Core Items |
Hurricane Pike (Force Staff + Dragon Lance), Black King Bar, Shadow Blade |
Dragon Lance expands your safe firing distance, while Force Staff provides necessary escape. Black King Bar is mandatory to prevent disables, and Shadow Blade serves as a vital tool for repositioning. |
| Late Game |
Butterfly, Daedalus, Aghanim's Scepter |
Butterfly yields massive Agility scaling to supercharge Trueshot Aura and provides evasion. Daedalus scales your raw physical damage, and Aghanim's Scepter splits your attack to decimate entire waves and grouped teamfights. |
Quick Gameplay Tips
- Manual Orb Walking: Instead of setting Frost Arrows to auto-cast, manually cast the spell by clicking the hotkey and selecting the enemy hero. This counts as a manual spell cast rather than a basic attack, which allows you to harass the enemy in the lane without drawing aggression from nearby enemy lane creeps.
- Maintaining the Marksmanship Buffer: Always prioritize positioning and spatial awareness in fights. If a melee hero jumps on you, your Marksmanship Agility bonus (up to 80 Agility) immediately vanishes, severely crippling your armor, damage, and attack speed. Use Gust to knock them back outside of the 400 range threshold to instantly restore your combat bonuses.
