Hero Skills Breakdown
1. Devour
Consumes an enemy creep, instantly killing it and digesting for the duration. Absorbs the enemy units special abilities if ability's autocast is enabled. Gives bonus gold when the devoured unit perishes. While digesting, Doom's HP regeneration increased. Digesting's duration is equal to ability's cooldown. If Doom dies before digesting is over, he will not receive bonus gold.
- Special Mechanic (Ability Steal): If Devour's autocast is toggled on, Lucifer will gain the passive or active special spells of the digested neutral or lane creep.
- Digestion Rule: The digestion status lasts for 70 seconds (equal to the cooldown). Bonus gold is rewarded only if Lucifer is alive at the end of the digestion duration.

Item Build Guide
| Phase |
Recommended Items |
Strategic Purpose |
| Early Game |
Phase Boots, Hand of Midas, Magic Wand |
Phase Boots compensate for his low base movement speed and grant essential armor. Hand of Midas stacks multiplicatively with Devour, catapulting Lucifer ahead in gold and experience. Magic Wand provides a crucial raw mana pool boost. |
| Core Items |
Radiance, Shiva's Guard, Black King Bar |
Radiance scales his farming velocity and pairs perfectly with Scorched Earth aura damage. Shiva's Guard offers huge armor to patch up his weak agility scaling, plus intelligence for casting. BKB ensures he cannot be locked down before dropping his high-impact ultimate. |
| Late Game |
Aghanim's Scepter, Heart of Tarrasque, Refresher Orb |
Aghanim's Scepter introduces the "Break" mechanic, disabling passive-heavy carries. Heart of Tarrasque maximizes his Strength-based survivability. Refresher Orb gives him double ultimate capacity, allowing him to erase two enemy heroes from a teamfight completely. |
Quick Gameplay Tips
- Neutral Ability Management: Pay close attention to your Devour autocast toggle. If you have acquired a perfect set of skills (like the Centaur's War Stump stun or Alpha Wolf's critical aura), toggle autocast off before devouring lane creeps. This allows you to safely extract the bonus gold and HP regeneration without overwriting your powerful stolen spell kit.
- The Percentage Burn Reset: Infernal Blade operates on an incredibly low 4-second cooldown at maximum level. Because the percentage damage ticks across 4 seconds, you can permanently cycle the maximum health burn on a massive enemy tank, utilizing Scorched Earth's movement speed bonus to endlessly reposition and re-apply the sword strike.
- Divine Shutdown Timing: Use Doom at the absolute beginning of a decisive engagement. Because it applies an initial basic dispel, it can remove favorable enemy buffs before completely disabling their active spell toolkit. If you possess an Aghanim's Scepter, target passive-reliant heroes like Phantom Assassin or Bristleback to render them utterly defenseless.
