Hero Skills Breakdown
1. Nature's Guise
Whenever Treant stays around a tree, he will turn invisible and phased, gaining a movement speed bonus. The countdown is interrupted when the hero attacks or is attacked by an enemy player. If the hero moves away from the trees he is hiding in, a brief grace period countdown starts before invisibility wears off. While invisible, Treant can fly while standing close to trees, walking around them freely. The very next attack from invisibility applies disarming roots onto the enemy, revealing his invisibility, and dealing magical damage over the duration. Invisibility is not broken when casting spells.
- Damage Type: Magical
- Grace Period: 0.75 seconds when moving away from trees
- Special Mechanics: Grants a completely phased status and unobstructed flight paths when hovering directly within tree bounds. Casting any spell does not cancel the invisibility.

2. Leech Seed
Rooftrellen plants a life-sapping seed in his enemy, causing it to be slowed and have its life force drained over a set duration. Nearby allied units are healed by the same amount. Deals magical damage over multiple distinct pulses.
- Damage Type: Magical
- Pulse Count: 7 total pulses over a 5.25-second timeframe
- Target Mechanics: Targets an individual enemy unit; healing affects all friendly units within the proximity of the infected target.

3. Living Armor
Creates an armor of living vines around a friendly unit or building, protecting it from harm and increasing its HP regeneration. Dispels after taking several instances of damage.
- Targeting Range: Global scale (castable on any friendly hero, unit, or structure via the minimap)
- Dispel Condition: Automatically breaks once the specific threshold of damage instances is reached.

4. Overgrowth
Summons an overgrowth of vines and branches. Prevents all nearby enemies from moving or attacking.
- Disability Type: Entangle (prevents standard locomotion, blink abilities, and base physical attack execution)
- Scepter Upgrade: Unlocks the "Eyes in the Forest" ability, enabling Treant to enchant trees globally, expanding his map vision and turning Overgrowth into a high-damage area-of-effect mechanism around enchanted points.

Recommended Items |
Strategic Purpose |
| Early Game |
Arcane Boots, Magic Stick, Orb of Venom |
Alleviates Rooftrellen's heavy spell upkeep costs while enabling continuous global casting of Living Armor. Orb of Venom synergizes perfectly with his high level-one attack damage to completely bully opponents out of the lane. |
| Core Items |
Blink Dagger, Meteor Hammer, Urn of Shadows |
Blink Dagger provides the instant positioning required to secure wide-reaching multi-hero Overgrowth catches. Meteor Hammer can be safely channeled while under the cover of Nature's Guise or right after an ultimate lockdown. |
| Late Game |
Aghanim's Scepter, Refresher Orb, Shiva's Guard |
Aghanim's Scepter is crucial for map control, granting global vision via enchanted trees. Refresher Orb allows for consecutive Overgrowth configurations, completely neutralizing enemy mobility in high-ground sieges. |
Quick Gameplay Tips
- Spellcasting from the Shadows: Because Nature's Guise states that "Invisibility isn't revealed when casting spells," you can position yourself directly inside an active treeline cluster and comfortably cast Leech Seed or drop an Overgrowth ultimate without breaking your invisibility. This allows you to orchestrate complete team fight initiations from perfect safety.
- Global Tower Preservation: Living Armor can target friendly structures anywhere on the map. Actively monitor the status profiles of your outer tier towers; casting this buff from afar during quiet map states helps regenerate structure health pools and easily counters passive lane pressure from enemy creep waves.
- Exploiting the 0.75s Tree Window: The 0.75-second grace period of Nature's Guise gives you a short window to step completely away from trees to hit an enemy hero. You can emerge from cover, execute a high-damage physical swing to apply your disarming root and magic damage, and step right back into the foliage before ever becoming permanently visible.
